on my 2019 reflection the black tank valve is stuck closed, there is nothing in the tank except the a few cups of water and plumbing antifreeze from dewinterizing yesterday, but the valve does not move at all, anyone know a way without opening up the underbelly to get this freed up?

My story might be different than what you have but on our 2001 alpenlite and after a few winters in Az the rod was getting very hard to pull and push so after emptying the black tank I poured cooking oil in the toilet and let it sit over night and then it worked perfect. had to do every couple of years. Might give it a try. Bottles have gotten smaller so maybe more is better. chevman
Interesting :h How much do you use?(cup, quart, gallon?) and how big is your tank?

YEP I said BYE, BYE to remote valves and relocated to an easy location with standard Valterra "T" handle valves.

This is why I don't like remote valves hidden in the underbelly. Any issues and it's a major project to get at them because they never seem to provide a good access port.

As suggested, you can dump very soapy water (might also make it very hot water) and then hope the soaking loosens it up.

You might also try both pushing and pulling. If you can get a little movement, you can probably work it free.

After that, it's likely underbelly surgery to get at the valves.

Try tapping on it with a hammer. Pushing inwards may loosen it enough to break it free.

If the seal has dried out, and valve is stuck to it, it will take some form of lube to soak the blade/seal. You may try dumping a bucket of water/dish soap down stool, leave set overnight, before trying to pull open.

There are valve seal lubricants available, but not sure how effective they are for this use?

I leave a quality non-ethanol anti-freeze in black tank, to prevent this.
