Two ways one is a manual trnasfer switch the other automatic
First you "Split" your breaker panel into two boxes/panels one to be powered by the INVERTER the other by Shore/Generator. The "Main" panel has big loads like Air Conditioners, Water heater, Fridge, and depending on the size of the inverter the mirowave.
THe SUB panel has outlets (THe GFCI protected ones) Televisons, radios and optionally the MIcrowave.. I would suggest if you have an RV type Fridge (Absorption cooling) it remain on the MAIN. as does your Converter.
30 amp breaker to 30 amp manual transfer switch one end. Inverter to other end, and to the middle you connect the Feed line to a "SUB" panel mentioned above
AUTOMATIC transfer switch.. Same basic hooikup only
INVERTER.. IF you turn the inverter off it can go to either Generator or Shore (mains) input
Mains goes to the other. IF you do NOT turn the inveerter off then it goes to SHORE/MAIN input and the mains go to Generator (From teh 30 amp breaker in the MAINS box)
In both cases the LOAD is conneted to the sub panel as above
Home was where I park it. but alas the.
2005 Damon Intruder 377 Alas declared a total loss
