Xantrex SW3012 with SCP

I have a Xantrex SW3012 with a Xantrex SCP that has worked well since replacing a Xantrex Freedom 458 about 3 years ago. Today all was well until we arrived in Las Cruces, NM. I checked the SCP and it no longer shows the SW3012 as it usually does. I checked the SW3012 and it was operating normally. But the panel does not recognize it. I appreciate and ideas.

jrclark - You can also look at getting Xantrex's 808-9010 Remote Adapter. This way you don't need to run a new Cat5 cable, just use the preexisting 4-pin with 808-9010 to work with the SCP.

Glad to hear it was an easy fix!

Thanks for the replies. I tried the suggestions and it did not work. So thinking about it I tried a CAT 6 cable and everything is back to normal.

remove all power
wait ten (long) minutes
attempt to start the inverter with NO batteries
return battery power
start the inverter normally

First, try a HARD re-boot (shutoff power to inverter for 5-10 sec) to see if display will return to normal...
