Good afternoon! I’m restoring this awesome trailer and need a new AC unit. It looks like the furnace is ducted to the walls vents near floor. Can anyone else confirm the AC unit is not also ducted if the controls are on the ceiling and that’s where the air blows from?

Might seem simple to someone else, trying to save some $$ by doing reasonable things myself. Looking to update from 13,000 btu to 15,000.

Thank you so much!

It was common in that era.

My 1978 Cruise Air had the standard 14x14 cutout for the roof air.

Do you think it has the standard 14”x14” hole like is the standard today?

That age would be NOT ducted! It would fit into one of the roof vent opening that has a 120 volt wiring to it. Thermostat and controls would be on the interior ceiling unit.
