Aliner Expedition Power Lift Question

I recently bought an Aliner Expedition and can now see one potential problem. What happens if I am back in the boondocks and for one reason or another the power-lift doesn't work? Is there a way to get the top up/down without it? Would it be a good plan to purchase a couple of those little electric motors that power the lift to take along just in case? Aliner has been in business a long time so I am guessing the system is relatively bulletproof, but still, I have been RVing for a long time, long enough to know that anything can break. Your input please. Thanks ahead of time.

I'm sure , just like with any slide, or electric jack. there is a manual over ride. I would hope any one with such a pup would find out how to manually raise and lower the top.

Because batteries die, and motors burn out.
