Anderson WDH hitch installation

I just installed a Anderson WDH hitch on my new Flagstaff micro mint trailer. The trailer is about 3 Inchs higher in the rear and not level. The trailer porpose's when towing w/ my F 150 but there is no sway. Has anyone installed this WDH and how is it working?

If needed you can turn the hitch so the ell is up.

I raised the ball as high as I could. it's now 1" above the coupler. I will test it next week.

OP asked about experience with the Anderson. I have the Anderson hitch and really like it a lot. Easy to to hook up and to disconnect. Absolutely, no sway despite some significant winds in Kansas.

As others have suggested, you just need to change your hole position to raise the ball.

Also, the Anderson tech support is very good if you still have questions.

Raise the truck ball on your ball mount.

Sounds like you need to change bolt holes to raise the ball. If you got your truck back to Fordโ€™s specs with the chain tension, the only other adjustment is how high the ball sits.
When I changed trucks, I had to move the ball to get the trailer to sit correctly. I like mine a tad nose down. Measuring on the frame, there was about an inch difference. When I set up, I went to a parking lot that was about as level as parking lots get.
The only porpoising I get is on some stretches of concrete highways. Usually a speed adjustment takes care of it.
