Another wet floor topic..

2005 Weekend Warrior FS2600. Due to neglected roof leak I have had to first, repair the leak then secondly since I'm not terribly concerned with cosmetics, I applied 3/4" carpeted ply over the hallway soft spots (from kitchen forward to bed) - that's all fine. Where I can't cheat and must do a better job is the totally rotted out bathroom floor. Shower stall seems solid but toilet area is a mess.

I have pulled up the flooring and now I'm ready to remove the toilet flange which sits atop the dark water tank. Something is keeping it retained to the tank. I have removed all the screws and the underfloor below the flange but it just does not want to come out.

Maybe I'm just not exerting enough force but thought I'd check here before I chance messing anything else up.

Thanks for whatever help you can render. Mike
