Anyone use or intalled a E-Z Flex suspension?

I am going to upgrade my equalizer and spring shackles on my Jayco 23FB springs. I would like to hear any input on the Dexter E-Z Flex system. How it works and how did the install go? The Dexter video is impressive, I would like to hear from actual users.
Thanks

We have the Dexter E-Z Flex. Installation is E-Z peasey. Good sticky on this forum somewhere. Best one out there IMO. We replaced our Trailair equalizer as soon as we got our new TT with the Dexter setup.

Yes, they help cushion the ride somewhat. Was glad I did it and the cost is minimal compared to the benefit. I had installed the kit on a KZ Coyote CL180 that only weighed 3850 lbs empty but the clothes on hangars were always bouncing off the clothes bar and we had to tie the cabinet doors shut to prevent things flying out unto the floor. Can't say that it eliminated all of that but it did help. I had a bushing driver kit which helped in driving the new bronze bushings in without damaging them. If I had to do it over knowing what I know now, Yes I would do it again. Only problem is that I now have a different camper and they do not sell a kit that will fit.

Lippert makes a similar product, the "Equa Flex", also known as the Trail air.
I have it and like it a lot.

I also had the Dexter bronze bushing on my previous TT. and was not overly impressed.
I had too much wear on them. I think it was because my use includes many miles of dusty dirt roads on most trips.. I think the dust mixed withthe grease making an abrasive mix... I would have had to grease them way more than I am willing to prevent this.

I just installed the Lippert never lube bushings on my present TT.
This should solve my dust attraction problem. I have read some good reports on them from users... I will post up my results in a few years

Yes. I would agree with others. It works great and is fairly easy to install. I assume you will order it with brass bushings and wet bolts. It will ride much better and will be quieter when backing up.

Well worth the time and money. I can honestly say that I barely feel the trailer go over the expansion joints in the highway. It really tames down the jarring suspension movements.

And wait till you see how much beefier the Dexter shackles are compared to the thin shackles the factory privided. I found almost all of my suspension loose/worn out.

If you haven't ordered them yet, I don't think you can beat this price anywhere. I received them just three days after placing my order. The installation will have to wait for Spring to arrive.

On my 20 year old 38ft 5th wheel one of the leaf springs broke. I replaced all four springs and added the EZ Flex equalizers on each side. I worked on one side at a time using a floor jack, a bottle jack and jack stands and 2X4 wood pieces. The Jacks stands and wood were used to stabilize the frame in front of and in back of the axles. Like C.B. indicated is is an easy project if you have some skills and the right tools.

It seems a little more stable while going down the road.

I installed Dexter E-Z Flex on my 2003 Cardinal 33CKTS.

It makes a world of difference the way a trailer rides.

You will not be sorry for doing this mod.

If it had not come standard on my 2013 36CKTS I would have installed it immediately.

As far as install I used a bottle jack and jack stands.
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being hardest). For a person handy with tools I would give it a 4.
