Atwood Jack Issue

[OVERSIZE_LOAD]

I went to load our 1181 when the remote switch would trip when attempting to move all 4 jacks the same time. now I can still move 1 jack at a time successfully, but any more than that & it trips some type of breaker internally. I have been having issues with the remote not working from a distance lately but this is a new problem. I do not see how a bad remote could cause it to trip. any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have your batteries charged fully and while plugged in, you will not harm your converter.

Experience: 3rd Lance camper with Atwood Jacks and have been raising/lowering TCs for 10 years while plugged in to 120VAC with batteries charged.

I had a similar problem and I discovered that the battery was bad, I replaced it and everything worked. The jacks operate on DC and the AC/DC converter will not handle the amps.

never mind, today was another good day. I learned something new today. if you are plugged in you must have the batter switch on also inorder for the jacks to work.
