Just ordered my new Torqlift battery box and need a outside switch to the battery. I run a single 12v that I can mount outside the box. All the one's I look at seem to be double or triple batts...

Ended up getting the A7700 box. It would fit between my rails..

Would this work? Unsure about the Amp draw..wouldn't think it should ever be that high?

The full size 9000 series is way too big and totally unnecessary for what you have in mind. I've been using a Blue Sea m-Series as a battery disconnect switch for years now on several different trailers as it's perfect for the task.

If you could draw more than 350 amps, your single 12 V battery will be dead within a few minutes. You'll never approach that draw, however, because the inline fuse or circuit breaker to the battery will be much lower than 350 A. Blue Sea makes excellent disconnect switches. The only difference between your link and the other one suggested is the switch's case size. I'd get the smaller, less expensive switch, it will work well.

BATTERY SWITCHES

I use the BLUE SEA switches everywhere here but this one is very popular among the RV guys... You can find them with a nice panel ID plate too... The downside might be if you lose the key hehe... Then its vice grip time...

This one would be best for your application & offers three different methods of installation.

Look at the pics showing the different ways.
