cabinet bed

I have an older prowler with the coffin bed above the main bed in the front. its a cabinet that opens into a bunk. any idea what a real world weight limit for something like this is. would I be able to put a 165lb person up there? it creaks and groans under my weight not sure if it should be a concern or not. Thanks.

That used to be my bed when I was a kid. I would guess I was about 140 in 7th/8th grade, and it seemed like it was iffy. I don't remember any sticker or anything regarding weight limit.
