Does anyone tow with a 2014 Pathfinder?

I just realized that I can get a new 2014 for the same monthly payment as a certified 2011 - but the newer design has a smaller towing capacity (5000 vs 6000 for V6) and is FWD. Has anyone towed with one? I'll be pulling a 6x10 cargo trailer weighing approximately 2500 lbs full.

I have towed a 6x12 cargo trailer (loaded to 3500+ lbs) extensively with my similarly powered Highlander. I think you would find the Pathy to have enough power.

However, be sure to search the Nissan forums first for owners' experiences with the CVT. When I looked 3 months ago (because I was considering the new Pathfinder to replace my HL), I read many complaints about transmission 'judder' or apparent slippage when rolling at about 2-3 mph and then trying to accelerate hard. Rather scary when trying to pull through an intersection.

I am now planning to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee this summer.
