Our water pump does not shut off. Sounds like cassete player rewinding when not in use. Changed the fitting worked about 1 hour. It is flojet dont see any leaks and don't seem to be losing water from tank. TT is a 2013

Pump was working for last 3 months. Had to flush black and grey because getting false readings. After that pump seemed to be louder and grumbly. Then when just sitting with no water on heard whining. Replaced the valve coming out of pump. Looked like had nicks in it. When put together with same part sound was worse. Now replaced valve worked good 1 hour now won't turn off again. Also seems like something is draining our battery.

Do you have a tank bypass kit installed on the rig.

I found when my TT was winterized, the tech left the valves in the by pass position. Bet his hears were burning when I found what the problem was.

The valve on the pickup hose needs to be closed and the hose from the tank need to be opened.

Make sure none of the outlets are leaking or turned on...outdoor shower, toilet, faucet fittings under bathroom sink and the one way valve at your freshwater inlet are common sources. If no leaks then the diaphragm in the water pump or the pressure switch may be bad.

The water pump is controlled by a pressure switch. If it cannot build pressure it will never shut off. Can't trouble shoot from your description. What fitting did you replace?
