I did a search and only found one, short thread on the Forest River 18TO. This thread isn't only about the Wolf Pup, but includes it, as well as the 2018 Patriot.

This is the 3,800lb dry, single axle with super slide by Forest River.

I shopped for three months, visiting a ton of dealers and walking through a ton of campers, when I finally landed on the 18TO.

Maybe this thread will be that running story of the 18TO.

......

2.5" square tubing that is 1/4" thick gave me the lift I needed for the proper clearance for the 235/80-16's.

I don't weld real purty.....but my welds are strong.

I'll post first......

Last week, we dropped our deposit on a 2018. Rather than it being the Wolf Pup, it is the Cherokee Patriot 18TO. Best I can tell, they are identical.

We are purchasing from AC Nelsen in Omaha, NE. Same ole story of Colorado dealers being $3k-$5k more expensive.....so we will drive to Omaha and back....about $200 in diesel.

First modification will be bigger rims and tires. Stock on ours is a 225/75-15. Once I get the trailer home I am mounting some 'mudder', 235/85-16's that are load range E..... I want a super tough tire for off-road, back country camping. I am hoping I don't have to add a lift kit, but if I do....I will only lift the camper 2".
Thanks, John
