Furnace Replacement

My Furnace was replace by Fisher RV in Tucson. It took over 3 months and it does not work. I will never go there again and may need to sue Fisher RV to get the furnace working. This has been a total fiasco. The worst experience I have ever had with any kind of repair. I am an old guy and don't need this kind of treatment. Never again!!!

Just an update, Fisher now tells me it is not the thermostat but a mal-function in the furnace. So he has ordered a replacement and will remove the Atwood and replace it with another Atwood. This has been going on for 4 months now. 3 trips to Tucson and still hoping. I am not sure if Fisher is telling me the truth since he assured me he had tested it before I picked it up the first time. Each time the story changes a little.

On your thermostat placing fan in ON position will only run A/C blower.
Furnace fan will only work in auto with heat selected.

Open outside compartment cover (remove the screws in frame)
Look inside for an ON/OFF switch and circuit breaker (could be combined)
Make sure the switch is ON and push reset button on circuit breaker.

If OFF or not reset no 12V power to furnace.

Thanks, but i had looked before for a switch or fuse or circuit breaker but cannot see one. I think I will write Atwood back and ask them if there is one> I did get a manual on line from Atwood, very helpful and prompt. I will take a look there and see if there is a diagram.

thanks again.

You looked in the outside compartment and no switch/circuit breaker??
Mounted on frame in front of blower cover...top middle area???

Another possible location would be on side of furnace cabinet (access from inside rig in area where furnace is installed)

Thank you for your input
You are right, had to remove grill inside the trailer and there was the switch in on position. I flipped it off and back on with no response. By the way, my damage was caused by rodents to the wiring and when they removed the furnace, Fisher did not even bother to vacuum the debris from the rodents. Off to an Atwood authorized facility.

I will take a look inside but access is a little difficult.

What furnace...Suburban, Atwood etc. and which model??

What is it doing...actually what is it not doing??

Does fan come on but doesn't lite off?
Does fan come on , lights off but doesn't stay lit?
Fan doesn't even come on?

Explain your furnace problems......might just get some help getting it to work.

Atwood 8535 IV DCLPLD
Fan in furnace does not come on
I does nothing. The only thing that happens is if I put the blower on, not auto with the heat off the a/c blower comes on . I think he has the wiring screwed up but how does one tell. I will need to spend more money to identify the problem and, of course, would not take it back to Fisher.

Is this some kind of special heater? 2 or 3 hour job at most if regular common rv heater.

Just a regular Suburban brand furnace. I have no clue what the problem was. You are right, not complicated. He just keep putting me off and stalling. Than he put in an Atwood but that should not have complicated anything
