Glide-n-lock bed ends on Coachman

I'm on a quest for new popup. I have found that Coachman makes models that require no bed-end supports. Rather, the bunk ends have some kind of suspension.
For those of you with those units, any issues with them? I believe that system has been out a good 4 years by now. Really sounds like a nice idea --- pushing up bunk ends while placing the poles is more exercise that I would like.

I bought it here, but I did bring almost all of my personal, construction, and Porsche tools, including a lot of the tools my dad and I used to build our Malibu house in 1972! I take care of my stuff, and have several tools that are well over 50 years old, including a 100' surveyor's tape.
The few things I didn't bring were my chain saw, radial arm saw, demo hammer, and floor jack. I wish I had brought my floor jack...

Where did you find a tape measure using the Imperial system? Left over from the construction days?
This space left intentionally.

We have a 2012 Coachmen 126 with the Glide-n-Lock beds. The beds work great and they are very strong, but the king-size beds aren't. They are 70"X73"!
I bought mine sight-unseen because I live overseas, but since I'm 6'2" tall, it's a little problem. I presumed when the brochure said king size that the beds would be as long as the ones on my Starcraft. If you're not that tall, it shouldn't be a problem.

I'll send you a PM with more pics when I have aces to my laptop.

the pushing up doesn't bother me but I like to use my bed ends for storage and it would be nice to not have the bars there.
