Help with DVD player.

Our wall-mount did not come with the dvd player, so I just bought a cheap on to use. Now my problem is I can't hear the tv! I cannot figure out how to get the sound to go to the TT speakers. Can anyone help me with this, do I just need a different cord?

Does your new one have an HDMI port? If your tv and DVD player have HDMI ports then just get an HDMI cord as it will provide sound and picture. If not then you'll need to run RCA type white, red and yellow cables from the DVD to the tv. White and red for left and right speakers and yellow for picture. Also you can run just the white and red for sound and use an S video cord for the pic.
