Inspecting Used Trailer

I know the basics on inspecting a trailer, but would it be worth it if there is a reputable dealer nearby to have them go through the whole trailer as well? If so, what would a reasonable price be (Grand Rapids/Muskegon, Mi area)? I know it can vary depending on location.

Also, if so to have a dealer check the trailer out, any suggestions which dealer(s) for Grand Rapids/Muskegon, Mi area?

It isn't so much my skills that I don't trust as much as making sure I don't have any "new (to us) trailer blinders on" and miss things. And sometimes having a third party who is unbiased can be helpfull as well!

If close enough, I'd do it for $100. I was an RV tech for 6 years.

I think spending a hundred or so to have a thorough inspection done by a RV service shop or travel tech is a wise investment if your not comfortable with your skills to do the job.
