I just got a pathfinder x2 satellite
What tripod do you use. I was looking at the Tripod Mount TR-1518. It looks a little expensive for what it is and not even a bubble level. Are there any alternatives, has anybody put a bubble level on there's. I was kinda thinking of putting it on a small table that I carry in the camper. What does the rest here do. I posted this in tech, if this is the wrong forum please delete
Thanks in advance.

We have the TR-1518 also. It works great. No need for a level. I just screw the stake in the ground and connect the bungee. No need for anything more. I think it's well worth the money and should last longer than the Antenna.

I have the TR1518 and it works great. I never use a level, just eyeball it and let the pathway do it's job. The legs of the pathway lock into the stand and the legs spread wide enough that it's very sturdy. I did use one of my fire logs and wrapped a bunjee cord around and attached to the underside of the stand and it held very good with up to 40 and 50mph gusts. I was a bit nervous but worked well. I pondered over the cost myself but after having a while I wouldn't go any other way.

I got the round one with 3 legs. Don't have it available right now so don't have the number. Works good I use 2 each stakes into the ground on either side to tie it down.
