Hello, I am new here and to rving, I have just purchased a 1972 (I think) LaStrada tt, I am attempting to locate the VIN for this trailer, any help or information would greatl be appreciated. Thank you

Did Travel Trailers have VIN's in 1972, boats didn't require HIN's until the mid 70's. I had a boat built in the early 70's and it had a serial number, but it was just a few numbers. Possibly a trailer that old didn't have a long VIN number like they do now, possibly just few numbers stamped into the frame somewhere.

Vin is usually stamped on the hitch frame.

First place I would look is in the vicinity of the left front corner. Look on the body, on the frame, and on the tongue.

Next I would look inside on the back of all the cabinet doors.
