Just bought a complete 16.5' led light strip from Ama--n for the underneath of our awning, came with remote, has many colors and functions, can't wait to use it. Who says us smaller T/T can't look flashy like some of those fancy M/H psttttttt 24dollars

I have mine on the channel where the awning attaches as well, I hope going this route I can get 2 seasons out of them.

May I ask why only 2 seasons? Weather? Winter storage?

Yes, mine are waterproof. they have 2 water proof versions. one with a rubber sleeve over it, I have one of these and it will go inside. the other is coated and will go outside. I need to order a second one with the coating to match the other one. then the extra will go inside the trailer under the cabinets.

Make sure you get the waterproof strips: even if they are out of the direct rain, condensation can effect the uncoated strips adversely.

I have a set waiting to go on in the spring! I too am going to put them under the awning channel. I bought 2 so I can have them the length of the awning (21ft). can`t wait to get them on and light up the entire site!

Mine didn't last a year on the awning tube, moisture discolored them and they quit working. I now have the on the trailer just under the awning, have to see how long they last there.
