New Reese WDH

This thing looks pretty beefy and fairly simple to install. Not sure if it would be noisy or not. I know when I used my EQ 4pt sway WD I had to lube the sockets fairly often to keep the noise down. Nothing was said about any grease in the video. Of course you'd want to grease the ball.

X3 thinking it was a SC. I wanted the Reese SC with purchase, but they messed up. Gave me a dual cam instead.

I understand that!!! When I first looked at it, I though "That has been out a while!!!".... Then I looked a little closer and thought something looked weird... Lol Then I noticed the difference.

I almost went with the SC system. In talking to Reese they convinced me to go with the DC again. I liked the slightly easier set up and adjustment when/if needed, but do like the DC.

To bad the new model is rated for only 1400lbs tw. Maybe a larger model will be available down the road. It does look like the trailer bracket design seems a little more stout vs the SC.

I had the Reese SC system which looks similar in function. I greased the ball and the pivot points where the bars hooked to the hitch. Obviously I did not grease the friction pads. The hitch was wonderful pulling a 6,000 pound BigFoot behind a Titan, never swayed once. It did creak when going slow through campgrounds, not bad and certainly not a deal killer. It looks like they improved the bar to pad covers. The old sheet metal retainers were clumsy.

Are you sure you don't have the SC system from Reese? This new system was not out when we bought our 32 last July. Only the DC and SC systems.

This has a completely new head design, and slightly different bars in the way they attach to the head.

Very interesting!!!!

One thing from looking at the pics it appears the head tilt does not offer as much fine tuning as the SC or DC trunion system.
