My 1995 coachman trk camper has a Norcold 6052 single door fridge and the problem is it works fine on AC set on auto and will continue if switched to gas on the eyebrow board, but is will not work at all if the AC is off as it should switch from auto to gas and run on dc only.

The problem I can't figure out is that On the power supply in the rear of the fridge why both the 3 and 5 amp fuses are good but I replaced them anyway.
A 12 volt check are also ok on the pins on the right side of the box
ok.
120 volts are reading on the plug also.

The switch on the eyebrow board seems to bind when I move the selector from side to side, could this be the problem.

You need a new upper board and / or check the connector from the board to the harness, the pins might be loose. The board is relatively cheap at Dinosaur Electronics.
