Northern-Lite 8-11 & Solar?

All,

My question is kind of specific. Given the profile and cross-section of the NL 8-11 roof, is it difficult to add a relatively large number (4-6) of solar panels? Iโ€™m asking for you to share your experiences.

Thank you,

Bill

CA Traveler & Old Days,

I wonder if NL makes a full widths rack that would hold say, 3-4 panels. Has anyone use flat mounted, flexible panels?

Thanks,

Bill

I have the 1 factory installed 100 watt panel, it would be easy to add a second panel on the other side. But if you want 4 or 6 solar panels I would add a rack system.

Not difficult at all if you think outside the box and raise the panels. This allows you to even use larger panels like the lower priced 60 cell panels compared to higher priced 12V 36 cell panels which are about 2x the price/watt.
