Just purchased a Keystone passport 2670we that the dealer is prepping before I can tow it home. I have ordered a equal-i-zer-hitch that is still being shipped. Long story short. Can I tow the TT home without the wdh. I'll exceed the 500lb tongue weight without using the hitch, using wdh hitch max is 1050 lbs. All back roads no freeway driving.

I've towed thousands of miles without a WD hitch and still do with my race car trailer.

I've towed many miles with a 1/2 ton pickup and a lot with a 3/4 ton.

Should you? I have no idea?

Having owned a very similar rig, I don't think I would attempt it if going over 45mph.

If you are just using the bumper than I would not. If you are using a slide in hitch than maybe. Whatever you do be careful.

18 miles, 2 reasons the hitch is coming Friday and I'm picking trailer up on Friday. So not sure when hitch will be delivered and then I'd be installing it in parking lot of camping world 🙂

How far are you going? A few miles at lower speeds won't hurt anything. Can you wait until the hitch arrives before picking the trailer up?
