I am looking at a 2014 model and was wondering if those of you that own Revere's could provide me some feedback on quality or lack there of? Also if you own a 29RL any comments on the tongue weight?
Thanks

I almost forgot that Ours did not come with a TV. I purchased one from the local Walmart and installed with a wall mount. I found the studs and mounted. Little word of advise Make sure you buy shorter bolts for the assembly wall mount as the TT walls are not 2x4 like a house.

I mounted mine and put in two hooks and use a tie down strap while traveling to make sure it doesn't go flying.

Good luck

I have a 2013 Shasta Revere 26tb So far we have not had many issues at all. The first trip we found that the Black tank valave was not sealing completely and allowed some nasty balck tank water to come out when I removed the cap to put on my sewer line. The dealer replaced that. The Kitchen faucet was cracked from the factory I missed it on the PDI. The only other thing was the switches for the water heater were in the wall plate backwards. To explain they worked correctly but the propane switch was where the electric switch should have been. I simply popped the cover plate off and swapped them to the correct spot on the wall plate.

As for the build quality I am pleased so far. The air and heat are great! We camped in the fall last season and the heat was fantastic. The air keeps the TT nice and cool. I would not hesitate to recommend a shasta revere.

Good luck in you search and Happy Camping!!!!

We have a 2014 Revere 27RL which we seasonal camp with,so far for the price we paid(19,999.00)we are happy with it,fit and finish is pretty good,we only had a few very minor issues with ours that I took care of myself.can't comment on how it tows because I never towed mine we had it delivered too our site.No doubt there are better trailers out there if you don't mind paying the premium but the Revere was the best bang for our buck.Feel free to ask as many questions as you would like because I know it is hard to find much feedback on the Revere.

It's what is known as a "Nostalgia" brand. Sort of like a new "Airstream" or retro "Nomad".

The name Shasta goes back to trailers made in the 1940's...yet has absolutely nothing with the Shasta brand of today. The name's been bought and sold many times, and now the name belongs to Forest River and is a division of FR.

Forest River even refers to the brand as a "respected name"...I suppose that means that of you put a Cadillac name badge on a Yugo..that makes it a Cadillac?

Forest River builds some pretty great RV's, many different brands, and the Company owned by Warran Buffet Billionare, whao pumps quality and name brand equipment into them, and has a hand picked, experienced Management team that is second to none.

Oddly enough, even Forest River acknowledges that "this little trailer with wings brings each of us something no other manufacturer has to offer; nostalgia."

All things being equal..if you can find a Shasta Trailer, it's (built on the same assembly lines as other Forest River Products with the same features, options and standards as another FR trailers...and can get a better out the door price..buy it!

Note that theres even a company in Indiana called "Riverside Retro" that builds nothing except retro 1950's style RV's! Even an original replica on the first Shasta's!
