Well, it's freezing cold out here and I've been laid up for a while recovering from back surgery. Check out page 8 of this topic for my new pictures of my PUP just after I got it home last November. Here are a few pictures of me putting it to bed for the winter. I believe these were taken about the third week in December of 2006. I never did get the bag awning off - couldn't lift it.

I decided not to cover it so that any leaks that show up in the first year of ownership will be covered under warranty. I finally made use of the front mount hitch I put on the Jeep over a year earlier! Also went overboard on a tire lock. Just can't wait for winter to end so my new PUP can finally get used instead of getting frozen.

Thanks Luckydawg, I went to the site and reg. Didnt know there was an Avalanche Fan Club lol; as much I as love mine and use her I will fit right in! Believe it or not when I ordered her I had specific options in mind and a tow package wasnt one of them. Matter of fact that came later after we bought the Pup. We were always tent campers but it got to the point it was hard getting up off the ground especially when it was cold/wet etc. Found such a good deal on the Pup, the guy even towed her to our house for me until I was able to get a hitch etc. She pulls that Pup like a dream,and gas milage is pretty good as well! Thanks again for passing the info on. Sue 🙂
