Propane connection

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2011 Lance 855 and it has a propane hose built into it for bbq's and such. It is a pull out quick connect. I have found an extension hose at Camping world but it is a quick connect on both ends. Is there another type of an adapter I can use as my Bbq only has the traditional screw on type fitting? or is there a small bbq out there that has the quick fitting. Thank you

This has been a great source of frustration for us also over the years with different campers. We now have a low pressure, quick-connect line from the 20lb tanks at the back of our camper.

Almost all BBQs already have the built in pressure regulator, so if you could even cobble the fittings together you would be doubly lowering the tank pressure, which wouldn't work so well.
I have heard that the small Weber grills Q100, Q200 can easily have their regulators removed so you can use the existing low-pressure line. You'd still have to buy an adapter and these Webers are HEAVY and bulky. Something like this:
http://propanegear.com/weber-q-rv-quick-connect-kit/ or something similar on the usual shopping sites.

We finally gave up on grills and their mess and got a CampChef Ranger II burner for cooking outside with a large griddle.

Heheh, yah, I went through this without major connections.

I have an Low Pressure, quick connect just under the back bumper on camper.

The catch is, it's a low pressure (LP) connection. Most BBQs have the pressure valve on the BBQ hose too, so now you have a LP going into another LP connection and the flame is minimal at best.

Trying to find a direct hose, without the bbq LP was hard to find..
I couldn't find one.

So the only options I saw was to modify adaptors/connections with fittings which became a "Frankenstein LP Connection"..

So the LP hose on the camper, is pretty much worthless to me.
I've seen some that have adapted it, but?? way overboard for what it should be. I"m guessing there are LP BBQ but nothing that I saw worthwhile.

And finally, there are "Adaptors" that can be screwed on or off as needed, the key is the LP from the camper hose to the BBQ hose with the Temp control on it..

I'll be interested in what solutions popup here, thanks..
