Hi We attended the RV show yesterday and viewed a couple of travel trailers with rear living rooms. We would like to have a Travel trailer that has a separate living room. we saw a few travel trailers with separate bunk bed rooms. Can you tell me which RV's may have this feature of a separate living room?
Thanks. Sandra

We've had our Jayco 28RLS for about nine months now and still very much liking it. I have to have a full queen bed at for my 6'2" skeleton. The only drawback we've encountered is the switch for the pump is in a cabinet by the back door and access to the bathroom is through the front door with the slide in when we stop at rest areas. Everything is accessible though with the slide in. A must for loading at the house and stops along the way. We have two recliners in front of the big rear window, free standing table and chairs and a hide a bed sofa. The shower is nice and big too.

It is pricey, but is by far the best unit we've found.

Nice looking unit but better not wait to long as it said dealer stock only so looks like they are going to discontinue it.

Just wondering......can't dealer stock also mean that the dealer pre ordered based on past sales?

Dealer stock means it is limited to what dealers already have - they are no longer being produced. In this case the 313RLTS has been replaced by a 315RTS, which has an additional closet in the master.

I've seen several with this floor plan with big slides on each side.

the layout with the queen bed slide sideways is very nice and very nice bedroom.

However, a couple of potential drawbacks for us were
1) almost no space under the awning with the big door side slide
2) Many of this plan have limited grey water, instead of 70 gallons or so on ones with a shorter door side slide, only 30-35 gallons
3) getting to the kitchen facilities with the slides in is difficult or impossible. a drawback for us for rest stops etc.

but the interior is very spacious, depends IMHO on how you plan on using it.

you might want to look at the Jayco line. We love ours: a 27DSRL (2016 model we bought last june).Sorry, you will need to find the floorplan yourself.

we have the same unit as dutchman sport. We love the rear living for the view and room. However IMHO it is more of a "couples trailer" than a "family trailer". The couch folds to a nice bed, and the bath is accessible from bedroom and living room. That said our DD,SIL and 2 grankids come along quite often and it works well. But THEY are the ones getting the sleeping arrangements done up every day.

We have logged well over 20K miles on ours, and use it around 60-90 days/year for going on 7 years with no issues and everything is holding up well.

And you can get to the dinette, fridge, bedroom, bathroom, microwave, cooktop and pantry with the slides IN. great for rest stops or getting ready for a quick morning departure the night before.

Traded our front living room 27' Trail Bay for our rear living room Creekside in my signature last spring. The back wall is a large picture window. Love it. Bright and sunny on a nice day with picture window view when backed up to it. My Creekside is a great 4 Season TT and it was affordable.

Maybe, I miss-read your original post. If all you're looking for is a rear living room (with opposing slides) my Outback 298RE is absolutely great! We removed the stand alone table and chairs and 2 rocker chairs in the long slide and replaced it with a real, house hold 3 seater recliner couch. I added wheels so it can be turned facing the back window. We love this layout:

Keystone, Denali(?), and Forest River, make them in different weights to name a few companies. Nice step up for those who like to entertain indoors:).
