Rockwood Windjammer 2618W

Online I found a Windjammer 2618W. Haven’t seen one in person yet. The floor plan has real possibilities. I like it.

Dry weight is stated as 5985 pounds and carrying capacity at 1665. They don’t give a GVWR, but I would suppose about 7650 based on adding these two numbers. Dry tongue weight is stated at 638 pounds. Figuring I load it to about 7500 pounds, at 13% tongue weight would be about 975 pounds.

What does yours weigh as built according to the yellow sticker?

What is your loaded tongue weight?

What is your tow vehicle? If a half-ton, your tow vehicle’s rated carrying capacity according to the sticker in the door frame? (I’m trying to decide whether my truck can carry the tongue weight of this TT.)

What about battery access? Is there room for two T-105’s? (T-105’s have the same footprint as a Group 24 battery, but taller by a couple of inches.)

Any particular problems with this TT? Anything to be aware of?

Thanks!

Thanks for that! I didn't know there was a FR forum, although I shouldn't be surprised. It seems there are forums (fora?) for 'most everything.

It looks like I have to register to post. I can't post as a guest. That's okay. If I don't get my answer here, or if I want more info, I'll register there. I hate to register since I'm not already a FR owner, and whether I become one depends on what I learn about towing this model.

Thanks again,
