Skyline Nomad Battery

We are new to travel trailers and just bought a 1991 Skyline Nomad Weekender. One thing we are trying to figure out is the battery. It didn't come with one or any provision to hold one down. The spot for it measures 11 1/4"x8". Any suggestions on what battery box/battery that might fit? Thanks in advance!

Ok thanks! Looks like a standard NOCO battery box will fit the spot. At least this is one more thing done before our first trip!

And you will want a deep cycle marine/RV battery, not a standard car battery.

Hi atrerice welcome to the forum. You should be able to buy a standard battery box almost any auto parts store and even at Walmart.

Most boxes come with a strap that wraps around the box and the bottom of the frame to hold the box in.

What type of camping do you envision? RV park with hook ups? Dry/boondocking? The battery/batteries need to “fit” your style of camping.
