slide motor problems

got a 2006 Sunnybrook sunset creek trailer. Slide would not move either direction. I removed the sldie motor and took off the cover and found a stripped plastic gear with some shavings inside. Anyone know of a source to buy just the gears without having to buy a whole new motor? the motor has a serial number sticker on it and says 18 to 1 ratio, max 30 amp on it. Gear motor housing is stamped VMC who I assume is manufacturer.

It sounds as though you have a Venture Manufacturing landing gear and motor. They are wonderful to deal with and will ship directly to you.

I appreciate it but that link is only for the whole motor, not internal motor gears
