Well, I have had this generator for going on 4 years. Bought it at Costco for around 569.00. It seems Costco Is not carrying it anymore, and they have another that is all orange, I forget the name and not looking anyway. The SmarterTools has been perfectly reliable. All I do is empty it of gas and change the oil when not in use. I became lazy last year and just ran it off and on, did change the oil. It has the Yamaha engine, there has been discussion about it in several threads. Now I am wondering who can tell us about there's There has to be a few people who own one. This generator works well at high altitudes, we have property at well above 8000 thous. feet. It has become old reliable for us. Anyone else?
I know someone is going to come along and say, "just wait" it will fall apart.

A Home Depot nearby will service it, which is great.

I looked when Costo sold them, but didn't buy one. I probably made a mistake.
