Sway bars are for just what they say. They stop the sway when a large truck or bus passes. I am sure they would be nessessary with a tiny house. 4 point equilsier has built in sway control. You only need to add 1 sway bar.

not quite. Sway bars are for those times when sway is induced in a emergency situation, like dodging a accident, or animal. They are only to help dampen sway once it starts.

truth is. a properly setup trailer should never sway. EVEN when passed by a truck, or buss. You will feel them pass. but they should not push or pull you out of your lane. IF they do. You have problems that sway control will never fix.. Need to go back and work on the hitch adjustment some more. 18 wheelers do not bother my trailer in the least. I can feel them, but that is all. truth is. I can feel minivans more. but that is a normal thing. Not something sway control fixes, because it is NOT sway.

Sway is when the trailer starts moving around all by itself for no reason other than it is unbalanced.

This. A lot of people on here really donโ€™t know what sway is and isnโ€™t. I travel mostly back roads and never feel a semi coming and going by. Donโ€™t feel a semi passing me, either on a 4 lane road.

No they don't know what it is, and instead of trying to fix the problem that is causing sway. they try to hide it under sway control. A very dangerous thing to do.. because some day it will come out from under the sway control bandaid and bite you. I made sure my Tt did not sway period. then put sway control on it. For those emergency manuvers, and other emergencies
