Tank monitor sensors coming off

On our 1995 Northland truck camper, the foil sensor strips on the tanks are starting to peel off. Not surprising after 25 years. Is there a way to reattach those to prevent them from further peeling off.

They are reasonably accurate so I don't want to replace the monitor system and if they can be duct taped to prevent further degradation it's an acceptable solution for the time being.

How about some clear packing tape? It's two inches wide and holds great.

That would probably work too. Didn't know if it was ok to tape them on. I even have foil tape that sticks really well.

But, I don't want to mess them up in some way.
