Beware not all foams are created equal. Open cell will absorb water. Closed cell is water resistant. Ideally try to find high-density closed cell which is waterproof.

I made one from foam. Just cut it to the shape required (mine also needed a bit of taper top to bottom). You want it to compress a fair amount when the camper is loaded. The cat ran through it for years. It wasn't covered with anything, held up and didn't leak.

I had inflatable boot blown away at cross-winds.
Finally I ended buying swimming noodles and jammed them around the windows. Since my truck window has 3" tilt, I cut styrophane wedges and using dual-side tape glue them to truck window.
That worked well on 7000 miles of Alaskan bumpy driving.

are those the inflatable ones ? If so I am thinking cat will put hole in . Looking for something else maybe Thanks

Can you lay a towel or blanket over it to keep the claws off or are you concerned about the sides too?

The one I use is a faux leather (Naugahyde?) covered foam. The 2 Amazon links are inflated. Those may not stand up to cat claws. Might want to give Truck Camper Warehouse a call.

A side view of the one I use.

The wedge shape makes it form a nice seal.

My last couple of pick-up trucks did not have a slider window in them. But we had one with a slider several years ago, and the shell we had on the truck also had a slider window. Back then, we often carried passengers in the bed of the truck, since the truck was just a front seat truck. We wanted to leave the slider windows open, but like you, experienced the wind.

I came up with the idea of using a bicycle inner tube. I positioned the inner tube around the window and then, with a hand pump, pumped up the inner tube and it sealed around the windows, making the window a pass-through.

Occasionally, I'd have to preposition the inner tube, and sometimes blow it up again. Eventually, I swapped out the bicycle inner tube for a motorcycle inner tube and then I never had to mess with it again.

Anyway, it worked great for us. It was cheap, and only took a bicycle pump to install it. It worked on that truck and shell for about 10 years, and then ended up getting a different vehicle.

It would probably work just as well for a truck and truck-camper. However, unlike a shell, there might be a greater distance with a truck camper between the two windows, and a bicycle tire might not be fat enough to make contact with both.

Good luck!

We use the same boot. Bill from Truck Camper Warehouse in NH has them.

I bought a boot from Northstar when I bought the camper.

Then there's inflatable options,
TRAIL FX 30000 Camper Boot: 24' X 16

and the slightly smaller...
