Thermostat

I have a 2006 Jayco Expandable. It has a Atwood Furnace. The thermostat is also 2006 and is getting tired.
I would like to replace it with a simple 12 Volt heat only two wire digital type thermostat with a on/off switch.
I have searched the internet but not really sure witch one would do the trick. There are so many out there and very pricey.
I did find a exact replacement for $13.00. Can go that way but as I get older a digital makes life a little easier. Would like to be able to turn it off when not in use.
Any ideas?

I do have one more question. In the instructions it states:
Set the system switch to “Conv” if you have a conventional
HVAC system or “HP” if you have a heat pump system. Set the
furnace type to “Elc” if you have an electric convention system
or a heat pump. “Gas/Oil” will be used if you have gas or oil
based conventional system.
What do you think would be the proper settings?
I think "Conv" and "Gas/oil'. Did I guess right?

If you're looking on Amazon web site, it shows both & it appears that they are the same except for cosmetic. Note: the 42122 indicates, without Prime option. The 42123 is less money & Prime available.

I installed this one just a few months ago. Wish I'd done it sooner, works great !!!! & a 5 minute install. My system is Furnace only. Two wire connection. Simply set it to "heat" & fan "auto" + it has a "backlight"

Pick up a Hunter Digital T-stat model number 42123

It's a simple non programmable t-stat



Then remove your old analog t-stat and install the Hunter.simple 2 wire connection
