Things for the new travel trailer

Will be picking up our new travel trailer the second week of December and need to purchase some items to take with us for out trip home. Anyone have any good or bad things to say about the Anderson Rapid Jack and the Anderson leveling and chock set. Infinite adjustment for leveling seems a no brainer and with a tandem axle trailer the rapid jack seems to be much better than putting your self in danger on the side of the interstate to get a jack under the trailer or have to lay in the mud. Any suggestions or feelings are more than welcome.

Get an electric blanket! They are marvelous in a camper!

My advise to everyone who is getting a new camper and beginning to stock it.... don't forget the potato peeler. (really)! And the wine cork screw!

In addition:
Good quality surge suppressor such as a Progressive Industries EMS-PT30.
Good sewer dump hose and fittings.
Fresh water hose
Water pressure regulator
There are numerous other items to consider but this should get you started.

That's what I would say too.

Somewhat later on there will be one important thing you will need: a clear space on a shelf in the garage to put all the stuff you buy that you really don't need and never use. 🙂

I have Anderson Ultimate kit, which includes their entire set with a storage bag. I'm satisfied with my purchase. Bought mine thru Amazon.

For tire changing this or similar works great and a lot easier than using a jack. I have something similar-never had to use it but sure have loaned it out a lot. Sold at Camping World. Lars

And a box of assorted fuses-amazing how they seem to blow when you are in the middle of anywhere:)

Roadside service from Coach Net, Good Sam, etc. I recommend Coach Net as they seem to not leave you stranded on the side of the road for very long.
