Thinking about getting a "Couples TT" Help with brand/model

Wife wants a little more room camping in the Summer than we have in the TC, so thinking about a TT. Just us and 2 terriers. Thinking new.

Needs-Full 80" QB, solid bedroom door(s). Slide(s). Short as possible to camp in tight spots. Been looking online at 23'rs. Want QUALITY. No de-lamination, roof leaks, thing breaking in general.

I have a truck to pull almost anything so don't care about weight, just want a good quality TT around 23', shorter the better. I have been looking online and am overwhelmed by the different brands and models! Just want info from anyone with experience on brands/models, do's and don'ts. Appreciate any knowledge, info or advice.

We have a 29' Surveyor by Forrest River , and real happy with it. So far no problems.

We love our Bullet Premier. It's just 2 of us and 3 dogs. We liked our model because it had a lot of floor space for the dogs, without them always being in our way. Opposing slides really opens things up.

Skimming back through these recommendations, this one is looking very cool. One problem we have with the double slide is not much window out the passenger side. These guys have a full door window there, really cool. I think the couch setup might be nice too. This is a very nice looking TT. They are spendy though.Seeing mid-upper 30's. Never heard of them, not sure they would hold up like a Lance or AF which are similar in price.
It is heavy UVW 6,035 (don't care) the length is good.

Thanks for the input Michael, glad to here you like it. AC unit could happen to any RV.

Also my wife really likes the solid doors to the bedroom, but with the dogs coming in and out of there they are always pushing them open in front of the tv. I would prefer the accordion style but wife likes the solid ones. The dogs sleep with us at home on king size but not so much room on the queen so they get locked out of the bedroom.

We have one. Had it custom built with twin beds in the nose. Almost 2 years old. Over 20 k miles towing. Convinced it will last as long as we are on this planet. ,huge advantage only 7 ft wide. Makes towing much easier. Slide makes up for it when camping. I love it

I'll second this. We have a Camplite 21BHS. Great for my wife and I. Have gone from Florida to Arizona and Utah as well as Tennessee and many places within Florida. It's a great trailer, well built, no wood, light weight, and durable.

In my view Artic Fox are hard to beat in the box type trailers. Been RV'ing now since 2001 and have seen a lot of older ones in excellent condition.

On the other hand, if you can loose the new and slide out requirements, used Airstreams are hard to look past. 😄

If I had bought an Airstream from the get go, I would probably have stayed with the brand and trailers rather than go through 4 previous RV's.

Also consider solar windows 15k air and window awnings for those hot summers.

Have you looked at the Grand Design Imagine line?
Good size tanks, full 60"x80" queen bed, and decent CCC.
Maybe a little longer than you want. Hard to get everything in a 25' package. It does have a solid pocket door to the bedroom though.

How much fun is that searching for a camper just for two? Loved it! We settled on a 2015 Palomino SolAire 251RBSS. It does have the full queen sized mattress and two solid doors. We removed the doors because in order to use the flip-around TV from the bedroom side, the doors need to be closed. Made it too claustrophobic for our liking.

This is the shortest camper we could find that featured a large slide, lots of storage AND an outdoor kitchen. Can't vouch for the quality yet. So far, so good, but we've only had it out twice.

Overall length is not the only limiting factor, tongue length is just as important. Short tongues limit how tight you can turn your truck with out putting a dent in the trailer.

Thanks you Sir. I like the rear seating. At 27' 3", a little longer than I want, would like to be closer to 25'ish overall length, but it's not bad for that configuration.

Yeah, been looking at that design. I just can't find one short enough. We like going to tight spots (Currently have a Camper) and want as short as possible with a secluded QB. The TR 24RK comes in at 28' 8". The Coachman 233RBS i'm looking at with double slides comes in at only 24' 11". That's almost 4'. Thanks though, everything is on the table at this point!
