two day test run

Took the brand new Arctic Fox 990 out for a short two day test run before heading out for a week. Everything worked great but the smoke alarm kept going off when the furnace came on. I did notice a little odor at 1st & my thought was the heater was burning off any odors of new flexible duct work. Anyone have any thoughts? I had to pull the battery out of it while furnace was running. fortunately it wasn't that cold at night & was able to heat the tc up enough before turning in for the night.

Run it at home for a while.... and ventilate the camper with the fantastic roof vent fan (if your 990 has one).... that's what I'd do.

Good idea I think I will do that today.

Probably the actual heat exchanger unit giving off the odor rather than the flexible ductwork.
