Video camera to align hitch ball

When its time to line up that ball, any help is good. I attach my GoPro Session camera to the trailer and monitor my back-up on my smart phone. The Session sends it's own WiFi signal, so what I'm seeing is in real time. There's no need for the wife to direst me or anyone else. I've a video showing how I prepared my truck bed. and a demo.

I've thought about doing the same thing with our Go Pro, but I like giving my wife some work to do;)

Has anyone used it on the blind side of the trailer when backing in? That's what really worries me with my spotter. I might give it a try if I remember on our next trip.

In my case the OEM rear camera setup in the tailgate of my FORD truck shows this view with its feet markers and the BALL in plain view. I can actually see the trailer hitch align perfectly over the top of the hitch ball every time...

Can't beat that...
