Question...
Noticed a slight "drip" coming from the intake line of my water heater, inside the RV. It's Pex tubing to a "screw type" fitting and then to the water heater. Tightened the fitting before winterizing and THOUGHT I took care of it; the leak seemed to stop.
Just checked out the trailer from a long winters nap and found some antifreeze in a little cup I put under that fitting so apparently, my fix didn't work too well.
Before I go draining the antifreeze and unscrewing the fitting, is there anything I need to know? Is there some sort of "gasket" under that fitting that may need to be replaced or do they use Teflon tape to seal it? I just don't want any major headaches since I've never taken one apart before.
It's only dripping from the "in" line (cold)
Thanks in advance!
