water proofing the canvas

I was wondering what do I use to re-condition or water proof the canvas on my Palomino S17? That last time it rained here I noticed water coming in on my front bunk. The water was dripping off the support rod. No body was sleeping in there so it was not condensation that I saw.

Your Palomiino has vinyl coated canvas except for the window panels. If it's leaking at the top and dripping from support rod its either the stitching leaking, a hole or tear in the vinyl, or something amiss at the attachment of the canvas to the wall.

For leaking stitching the stuff to use is made by a company named Iosso.

Leaks are from the seams or a hole in the vinylized canvas. Should be no need to waterproof the canvas unless the canvas has become cracked from exposure.

It is the center support rod, not the transverse support rad.
