We started on in a pop-up about 20 years ago, moved up to a hybrid 9 years ago, and moved to a TT yesterday!
We loved our hybrid when we purchased it and the use that we got out of it. We thought that it was to much of a hassle for short trips, but didn't have any intentions of getting a TT, but have just talked out if briefly over the years. Thursday, we have a close friends family member selling their TT because they purchased a new one. They thought they had theirs sold when they bought the new one, but the buyer backed out and the owners were just really wanting to get it gone because it was takign their driveway up. So we got a GREAT deal on it that was way to good to pass up.
We are now the owners of a 2006 Keystone Zeppeline 291. We are the third set of owners of this TT. The first owners were an older couple that owned it a year and then health issues forced them to sale it. We knew the second owners that we bought it from that hd it for nine years. There are two minor issues, but nothing major. One is that the floor has a small rip where a toy got caught under the slide. The other is that the owning has a few bad spots from a bad hail storm that hit our area about four years ago. The awning was rolled up when it happened, so the spots were confined to one area, that he patched with awning tape.
Now are are off to get an electric brake controller installed on the Tow Vehicle.
This is our first camper with a slide out, so I'm sure that I may possibly have some questions regarding it soon.
Happy Camping!
