Wider stance wheels

Greetings!

My new coach has a wider gap between the wheels. I have it set up in the driveway with just the scissor jacks down and I can’t believe how stable it is.

Does the wider spacing make the rig more stable when parked?

And, I’m happy to report that we haven’t found any issues .......yet.........

Yes, more space between tandem axles improves stability.

The wider stance mitigates sway.

I would think anything more spread out would add to the stability, but there may be other facters at play also.
