I found the prewired stereo position in our new to us bigfoot, and got a $48 microwave from wallyworld and put it up in the cupboard above the stove where the microwave prewire is. I'm going to get some shelf liner (like tool box) and put under it to keep from moving while going down the road. If this doesn't work I guess I'll leave to fabricate some straps to put over it to keep it in place.

Well it took me almost 5 five hours but I took soap and a scrub pad and removed all the accumulated bug splats from the previous 12 months from the truck and TC then I washed and waxed the entire rig. Yes my darn Hands, arms, and shoulders are worn out. Now I remember why I rarely do this...lol

looks good though for a 10 yr old truck with 120k miles on it and a 6 year old Lance 1055

Do you want to do mine ? I will pay you all the beer and pizza you can eat. never mind that could be too costly. I'll just take it over to the auto detailer that does mine.
And for your question what did you do to your truck camper today....nothing I vegged out in my recliner most of the day. :W
Looks good!

My batteries were not holding a charge, so I pulled out my two group 29 batteries to check the water level.

In the first battery, the water level was corrrect. The second batttery - two cells were full. Four cells were dry. Strange. But the batteries were marked as "24 month" and they were three and a half years old.

So off to wally world for two new batteries!

Our Northern lite camper has a hanging cloths closet we never fill.

I installed a cabinet that holds three slide out file storage cabinets, with 5 inches of space on the side to hold hanging cloths. (with a solid stop so things don't go flying out during travel)

In addition the door on the left side only opened straight out so I installed 170ยฐ hinges (direct hole to hole replacements) for easy access.

Finally replaced the crappy old spring mattress with a memory foam mattress from Sleep Science. WOW!!!! What a difference!

While I had the old mattress out, I also laid down some insulation to help with the winter camping.

Thanks Skipro. I had one of those but last year I let a buddy long-term borrow it because he's living in their 5th wheel. I had never gotten it filled or used it and then once he got the valcves replaced I realized how useful it would be to have at home. Now I have to buy another one to replace it! $50 is about right once you spend another $50 to get the valves changed out. Thanks for the lookup.

Blew off winterizing it again and let it burn more propane. Doh! Camped in it last weekend (and skied Cooper) and got home late. I'd like to get a BIG propane tank for home use to hook up when I fail to winterize it......or just need to run it for a while for some other reason.

There are several 100 pound propane tanks in Golden. Here is just a few posted on craigslist over the last 2 days. There are many more;
