<span;>We were cruising nicely along Highway 99, just coming up to Bakersfield, CA when all of a sudden, a strange sound started coming from the engine. My best guess at this time is a failed roller cam follower. In the morning, I will remove the valve covers, which will let me see many of the possible engine components that could have failed.</span;>
<span;>So far, it has been an interesting night. Druggies observed with lighter, cooking meth or heroin, about to further destroy their lives. People lighting big fireworks making many loud booms. The final group were the street racers. Burnouts, loud stereos, revving their engines high enough to hear their revlimiters kick in. Some engines sounded really nice and well tuned. All is quite now.</span;>
