We use the inside way more than the outside, but they both have their purpose. In the summer the outside is great for after swimming, soap up and shower with the suit still on. Friend of mine got a new 5th wheel and no outside shower, he misses it.
Last March I installed the Mini Maxx and 4" stainless exhaust on the truck and mileage went from 10 average loaded to 13. And that was with a new front bike rack with 3 bikes on it. Very happy with the new power and mileage.
