Re: What to look for during road test
Have never driven a MH until my test drive, I rode with some folks in a MH, I read all I could on how to drive one. Check out You Tube vides. The test drive was not long but did include Interstate as well as two lane. I looked at how hard it was to stay in my lane. Listen for anything strange. The wife was a good one to have a long to assist. Does it sway a lot? A couch with few miles on it should be pretty solid. Can you see front, back and down the side? Ryan, i have a short Tiffin ( 34 Foot) and love it. I travel with a group that has every kind of coach out there. High end Beaver, monoco, Tiffin, even Thor. For your budget, I think you could find a 40 foot Phaeton that would do you well. Yes you read alot about Tiffin warranty, but for the number they make, few go back. Ryoung, As stated by a lot of folks, floor plan is key. Used is also the best way. let someelse take th first year deprcation and work all the bugs out. the change of season here in the south is no help either. DW takes warm weather, hot weather, cold wetaher and game day clothing. I get a pair of jeans, one game day t-shirt and one game day sweat shirt. I have talked her in to three pairs of shoes instead of 6. goufgators, if you want to stay married I would just keep hauling the stuff back and forth. leave yours in the coach.169Views0likes0Comments
