The OP said it was 65 so should have worked. That being said, I use the gas heat as it is quiter and seems to be more effeceint.Re: replacing carpetBus Driver, was this in a TT or MH? I have an allegro bay i want to do this in, but have heard of problems with slide rollers. Any advice?Re: Bunks in motorhomesTiffin will not build a custom floor plan. I just looked and the Pheaton has the bunks at the bedroom so that wil not work for you. Too bad Tiffin is a good coachRe: Newbie needs advice on buyingif you can find a slightly used Tiffin, i would take a hard look at it. I purchased a 2006 34 Foot model and I am very pleased with it. It is my first MH. Right size, good MPG for a MH, and very easy to drive.Re: What to look for during road testHave never driven a MH until my test drive, I rode with some folks in a MH, I read all I could on how to drive one. Check out You Tube vides. The test drive was not long but did include Interstate as well as two lane. I looked at how hard it was to stay in my lane. Listen for anything strange. The wife was a good one to have a long to assist. Does it sway a lot? A couch with few miles on it should be pretty solid. Can you see front, back and down the side? Good luck and trust me after a few hundred miles you will be fineRe: Buying a Class A without slides??our first coach was purchase this year. A 34 Foot Allegro Bay with two slides. We love the layout. Simple and seems to be efficent. An additional living room slide might be nice, but what we have works for usRe: Motorhome search, where to startRyan, i have a short Tiffin ( 34 Foot) and love it. I travel with a group that has every kind of coach out there. High end Beaver, monoco, Tiffin, even Thor. For your budget, I think you could find a 40 foot Phaeton that would do you well. Yes you read alot about Tiffin warranty, but for the number they make, few go back. I know the four in my group have never been back to Red bayRe: which one? class A or Pusher? Why? thanksRyoung, As stated by a lot of folks, floor plan is key. Used is also the best way. let someelse take th first year deprcation and work all the bugs out. I found a used Tiffin Diesel for not much more than a gas unit and cannot be happierRe: If DW sees this...I'm DM (dead meat)!the change of season here in the south is no help either. DW takes warm weather, hot weather, cold wetaher and game day clothing. I get a pair of jeans, one game day t-shirt and one game day sweat shirt. I have talked her in to three pairs of shoes instead of 6. goufgators, if you want to stay married I would just keep hauling the stuff back and forth. leave yours in the coach.Re: MOUNTAIN DRIVINGRacer99 on your fleetwood gaser, does it have an exhaust brake or is that just a diesel thing? I have on on my Allegro and it is a huge help in mountains.
