Fortunately, no problems. Haven't noticed any improvement yet, but I'm not a heavy user of Net things with it. So, not much opportunity for before/after comparison.Re: Make line on driveway for camper loading? Thanks for the ideas. My biggest problem is being parallel with the camper. So I think some sort of line along the driver side tires would work best for me. It would give me both parallel and left-right guidance. However, any other ideas are welcome. Will let you know what I come up.Make line on driveway for camper loading?Although I've done it for years, I'm trying to simplify loading my camper by myself in my old age. Recently I laid a string along the tires before offloading and that definitely helped when loading again. However, the string didn't last in wet weather. So, I'm thinking about a long "thingee" (plastic/wood/tape??) I could attach to the asphalt with glue or screws. Distance between tires is about 14 ft. BTW, don't want to paint the line or install a laser system. Thanks for any ideas.Re: Mopkka tank SensorsJust bought one of these and installed it on my horizontal 20 lb tank in my TC. Had just filled the tank and the phone app reports 80%, so that's a good start. Should be an improvement on the "days used" meter I've been using :) Changed the reporting time to 10 seconds in hopes of improving battery life.Re: Hotspot (usb tethering) with Visible: Help needed deltabravo wrote: It looks like I fixed the issue after messing around with iTunes. I will do some testing and post my final report later tonight. I have/had the same problem with my phone and iTunes. If I uninstalled iTunes from my computer I was able to connect to my iPhone7 with USB. Since I wanted to keep iTunes on my PC, I just used WiFi to connect PC to iPhone. Now have iPhone SE but haven't tried USB. Sorry, but didn't remember I had the problem when you first posted. :) Glad you figured it out.Re: Visible wants me to upgrade to new planTom M: Thanks for posting this. Exactly why I'm not switching right now. Hope the "I can't understand why you aren't switching" folks have read your post too. :)Re: Visible wants me to upgrade to new planI'm reluctant because of all the "horror stories" I've seen on other forums about changing Visible plans. I'm a "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" type of person. Since things are working fine, I think I'll chew on the decision for a while. :)Visible wants me to upgrade to new planYesterday I got an email from Visible that said this: We’re moving our valued members (that’s you!) onto our upgraded network. It’s faster and more reliable. So you’ll have all the unlimited data you have now, but with improved performance. Still $25/mo, taxes & fees included. I've been on the old plan for about a year for $25. I think I might wait and see if they force me to change. Anybody else get an email like this?Re: 1" to 3/8" thread adapter?Got the custom adapter from the machine shop to go from 1" to 3/8". Photo below is the full setup before it's mounted on the ladder rail. With my shaky hands I need another person to help. The lever arm is horizontal to lock the antenna rotation and vertical to allow antenna to be raised or lowered. Just hope I remember to lower it when investigating boondocking spots in trees. :) BTW, I used the term "pipe cap" previously not knowing a real one uses a tapered thread. The threads in both cases here are "standard".
